Cracking the Hymn of the Fayth code!
If you've ever looked up the lyrics to the haunting Hymn of the Fayth song from Final Fantasy X, then you probably have read that it's a rearrangement of certain phrases into a jumble of nonsense. I haven't found any site that displays a rhyme or reason for the jumble, but if you look for it then it's quite easy to find.
If you write the lyrics horizontally with a line break, then the first four lines form a square of 16 syllables in Japanese. Reading each column down reveals the "secret" lyric.
For the last two lines, you skip a syllable to get the secret lyric. Except the last part. I don't know why the writer didn't bother to mix that up too.
I thought the world would be infinitely richer by pointing the pattern of this all out.
