Cougar Town wasn’t very good
Now, gentle reader, I do hear a: “What did you really expect watching a show called Cougar Town?!” To my defense it’s the new sitcom by Bill “demi-god who created Scrubs” Lawrence. We’re giving it another week before throwing in the towel because pilots can be downright terrible compared to the rest of the series, but with one laugh in the whole first show it’s going to need a big turnaround.
When I was typing the show into IMDB to see if a guy in it was the guy from Drew Carey (yes, he was), I accidentally typed “Cougar Island” at first. Those of you familiar with the 30 Rock episode “MILF Island” may get the reason for my confusion. It’s sad when jokes go meta.
