and if you don’t I can’t imagine reading something this boring otherwise…
Er, yes, you are probably familiar with my cycling obsessions with authors, musicians, etc. (notable past ones include Steve Allen and Phil Ochs). Well, right now I’ve fallen in love with Will Cuppy. He was a newspaper/magazine columnist who did book reviews and such (including the New Yorker, ooh la la!). He was best known for little articles on animals which he made into three books. His best book, though, “The Decline and Fall of Practically Everyone” was compiled posthumously by a friend. If you like history I suggest you find it somewhere and read it. I’ve now got 4 of his 7 books and am on my way to a complete set. Bwa ha ha ha ha ha.
